Patch installation Problems
 

Gentlemen,

I am attempting to install SEIV Gold v1.67 on my office machine. The basic progrma is installed and working. Now I am trying to get the patch installed and just cannot get it (the patch exe file) to work. When I launch it, I get the message the machine is loooking for my files, then I get an error report message and the usual pop-up box asking if I want to send the report to Microsoft.

Afterwhich, I am dumped back to my desktop.

My machine is more than adequate to run the game, though I am wondering about my Version XP Professional as the root of the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Close all other programs before installing the patch.

Still received the error.

I will try again on Monday after I FDISK this machine and rebuild.

Do you have Admin rights on the machine? If not this could cause the error.
