Aaaiiiieeeee!!!
I do not believe it. This is more surreal than any Saturday Night Live skit. Some <insert very, very long string of expletives> record company is suing a guy for pirating silence! Yes, someone put a minute of silence on a new album and is facing a lawsuit from the holders of copyright to John Cage's 4'33" silence. See for yourself...

Re: Aaaiiiieeeee!!!
This has got to be one of the stupidest things I ever heard! I don't know which is more moronic, this lawsuit or the fact that someone was allowed to copywrite silence. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Can't you guys be quiet?

Re: Aaaiiiieeeee!!!
Well, there is always the off-chance that it's a joke. The story Slashdot references from says the guy jokingly credited Cage on the track. Maybe the company is trying to be funny and wasn't 'swift' enough to include any sign that it was a joke. If they don't understand the level of paranoia out 'in the streets' about copyright fascism they might not have realized someone would take it seriously.

It's just funny and stupid enough to be true, LMAO! Really, too funny!
