New Version of my Modding program
Just compiled a new Version of my SE4Modding program. (check the sig line) New features include:
- ability to edit/add facilties - unlimited no. of undo's - support for multiple installs of se4 - a help file! (pretty lame one so far) - ability to delete a facility or component Future planned additions include: - editable tech area - editable vehicle sizes - editable mounts - editable settings.txt and all the rest - search option on tree view - ability to delete family or group - ability to create a new group automatically File size: Extremely bloated. Thanks Bill. Send complaints to bgates@microsoft.com P.S. if you have loaded previous Versions you may still need to download the whole install program as at least on new dll is included. The 'EXE' only download just includes the exe plus the new help file (and again the somewhat lame help file, just an experiment for now) P.S.S. While this program will allow you to view things in Version 1.49 editing has only been tested in Gold versin 1.67 [ July 05, 2002, 03:24: Message edited by: DavidG ] |
Re: New Version of my Modding program
Hi just want to said great program. However found a small problem the cancel button on the browser window that try to find the dir with SEIV in it. if u click on it, it doesn't close the browser window and open the program or stop the program totally. It's try instead to let u find it again after it popup a alert saying " not a SEIV DIR", which if u don't have it on your system anyway it just start to loop between the alert and the browser window. This happen to me on a system at work, no game on it, YET http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif This could just be my system, but I didn't think so...
And Oh,I sent that email to bgate already, but got no reply so far http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif |
Re: New Version of my Modding program
Yea well I admit I never tested on a system without SE4 installed. Since the program needs files from SE4 it is pretty much useless if it can't find them. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

Re: New Version of my Modding program
Fixed a small but potentially annoying bug I just noticed where the 2nd, 3rd etc Tech required level was not being shown correctly
