SE4 1.49 to SE4/Gold ... ?
 

Forgive the newbie, but I have a question I hope the answer to will be "yes" ...

Other than purchasing an entire new copy of the game, is there any way to upgrade pre-Gold copies of SE4 to SE4/Gold ... ?

Actually, this is a common occurance with rebates. They take forever, the excuse being they didn't expect such a huge response. But I applied for the rebate with eyes open.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, I don't own the copy I'm using, it's a loaner from a friend who's moved on to other things (in return for loaning him my SMAC/Alien Crossfire XPac http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif -- so the rebate wouldn't be entirely honest of me to claim.

I like it enough I'll probably be buying a copy anyway -- probably, umm ... in september (bills in july, g/f's birthday in august ...). But waiting until then to be able to even start in a Gold-Version game will hurt. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
