Here they are... includes race AI files and a names file: kilrathi.txt. Keep directory structure from zip file and unzip into your space empires IV directory.
Also in the works is a Terran Confederation set, and a carrier war tech tree

I still have wing commander IV. Damned good game with very movie quality professional cut scenes.

Mark Hamill and company did a great show.

This might be a silly question, but here goes...what is the thumbs.db file in the zip? I don't think i've seen that file before.

VERY nice set. Just one thing I noticed, your 'mini' pic for the Transportmedium is a troop picture, the portrait is fine but some how the other got to be a different mini alltogether.

?? Did'nt notice this when I downloaded it, checked all the folders that came with it but I don't see this file in any of them. Better run a virus scan on your comp to be safe, might have come from somewhere else.

EDIT: Browsed the .zip file, the .db was in there, hidden but was gone when I unzipped it. Any idea what this is boys....

I haven't looked at this set yet, but I suspect that the thumbs.db is used by a graphics tool to generate organized thumbnail images in a browse screen. I have seen it before from some package, though I can't remember which one.

The thumbs.db was created by adobe photoshop 7.. sorry for the scare! I will fix the troop pict/transport medium problem and update the file like.. right now : ). I am have trouble properly fleshing out the confederation side.. if anyone knows of a good source of WC1 or 2 ship images.. please let me know!!!

Okay, I fixed the transport medium mini image, and cleared out the thumbs.db... I found out that when you view a directory with 'thumbnails' on XP it creates this little hidden/system file. Intrestingly enough the thumbs.db file was almost half the zip in size.... Enjoy!

I am nto as happy with this set as I was with the Kilrathi ships... but the whole premise of WIng Commander from star to finish was "We are here alone against the enemy" So there are alot more enemy ship images than good guys. But I made comprimises and the Bangel and Concordia will of course go into the carrier images.
