roleplayer\'s wish
 

I like SE4 games that involve some sort of roleplaying. But many ideas I come up with often may need a non-player that can watch the players interact. Someone with omnipresent view of the galaxy and friendly treaties with all races (to monitor treaties between players). It could be a separate option in game Setup.

I know: wishful thinking. I guess I just wanted my idea voiced. Plus, I want to see if anyone else has thought about this.

oh yeah. ive thought about that. it would be usefull not only for game admins in RP games, but also for spectator mode on games. sure, players could cheat if they had the spectator password, but it would be up to the individual players either to develop an honor system (something that should not have to be developed...) or to not use the spectator feature.

Ooo, a Spectator mode would be neat!

Yeah, I had already thought about the distinct possibility for abuse. Anybody with access to this non-player file could divulge boatloads of information. Grrr... dang cheaters.
