All new 8472 (New ships and everything)
 

I finished the new set for 8472 today.

To download the set, you'll have to go to PBW and get it from their file library. I will upload it to Shrapnel in a little while.

First things, the ship set is not cannon persay, but as close to it as I was willing or able to make it. Just read the General History description in the HTML viewer for more info on this.

I do appreciate comments.

Nice shipset as always. I don't care much for the troop images but the rest of the set makes up for it. Keep up the good work!

Here were the orignial ones for the new set. If you like them, the link to download them is below.

I will include the zip with the file I upload to Shrapnel. This way people can choose. I use the new images my self. and therefore they will become the "offical" troop images with the current images becomeing Alternate images.

Don't get me wrong on the others, I didn't say i hated them. I just didn't care for them all that much.

Old ship set had some very good pictures, is it possible to recycle them somewhow ? It would be a pitty to lose them.

I was thinking about doing that with a Free Space Race or something. The ships are from Interplays Descent Freespace - The Great War. The Terrans, the Vasudans, and the Shivans. Iwould have loved to have used Freespace 2 ships, but I could never get that game to run well enough to use it.

If any one wishes to make a ship set with these images, just remember to note me in your credits. Also, the old Breen set was heavily from Freespace as well. (Note, I think someone is using a Vasudan Race image already for another race. None Freespace.)
