DO Ate My Start Menu!
 

I don't know how it did it, but after opening the Dungeon Oddessy demo, I alt-tabbed out of it to continue chatting on the #se4 IRC channel on gamesnet. Well... DO didn't like being placed in the background, and so retaliated by eating my start menu. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/confused.gif It also placed an annoying bar hovering over everything in the bottom left corner above the task bar. Perhaps that is where DO's mouth was located. Suffice it to say, I have mixed feelings about the demo, before even playing it. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif

If you check the DO forum there are other complaints of the Alt-tab not working right with the demo. According to one beta team member that has been fixed in teh letest beta patches so it should not be a problem in the retail Version.
