Help

Do any of you know why my computer upon start up wold tell me to "Primary Slave S.M.A.R.T. fialed. Back up and replace?"

What the hell does S.M.A.R.T. mean?

I don't know what S.M.A.R.T. is. What is hooked up as the primary slave? A hard drive? CD drive? other thing?

SMART, if I remember right, has something to do with your hard drive.

Thanks. I should have known better than to buy a Western Digital HD from Fry's. Everything I buy from Fry's has to be returned for replacement at least twice. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon9.gif
