Space Empires Online or SEOnline is an Online roleplaying game for anyone who wants to play Online rpg's. Now i know it's not everybodies type of Online game but i'm sure it will be popular with soome people.

It hasn't been finished yet, there are still pages to finished but it will be soon. You can all join but if you want to roleplay it may have to be based on a planet untill the map is put up onto the website. I'm posting now cos i'm going to be busy over the next couple of weeks and might not be able to post anything up. Read the rules if you wanna know how to play there will be more added soon. If you think anything needs to be put up on the website that i've missed then go onto the forums and somewhere there post it up.

ok, you create a character and choose your characters race as well, you control this character in a Space Empires enviroment. you will be able to do alot if not everything.

You can create a group whereby people might join it to make or do all kinds of things. You buy and sell stuff. It's like life i suppose in a Space Empires setting and it's on the computer. Depending on how you look on it, it may be an adavantage or a disadvantage but the SE games won't be needed. everything is done on the internet including combat and movements and exploring etc etc

Ok, I get that now.

How about another question...what's the point? http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif To phrase it better, will there be specific goals for the characters, or will the story be made up as he goes along? What sort of choices will be presented for a character?

For instance...reading the rules, I saw a lot of information on ship combat, movement, warp nodes, and the like, but how does that affect my Sports Hero? Or my Assassin? I'm trying to figure out how it all fits together. Thanks!

you make your own story and future. This isn't a final fantasy type of game where the story is set. You do what you feel like. The movement effects your character because without it you won't be going any where. If you were an assasin you would need transport to get to your location. You can go anywhere. Use some imagination.

Depending on what your character does depends on the choices you face. Ship combat might effect your character because anything in the system where ship combat is, will be affected by the battle taking place.

Kind of like the exsisting SE ladder, but on an individual character basis, instead of everyone starting out RPing an entire empire.

yes puke all done on the forums. There is also another site if people don't know how to roleplay the site teaches it and you practise roleplaying.

if you had a group you could do 'OOC' roleplay that would only be fun roleplaying and wouldn't effect anyone.
