Full tech game
 

Sooo.... I'm in the to hell and back game on PBW. It had said in the description that it was a full tech game. I assumed that meant that there were no restricted techs for research.

However, it would seem that all techs are fully researched at the beginning of the game! Am I right in this??

Full tech is kind of a misnomer. It should have been labeled as "High Tech start" and there would have been no confusion I think. Most people would have probably correctly read "Full Tech" as High tech start, but I can understand why you didn't. I think he mentioned something in one of the threads that confirmed it as High tech, but you probably would have had to read them all to see it.

I am in that game as well. I assumed it ment full tech from the start of the game... Ie. every tech tree researched for you.

Yes, sorry for the confusion. Since this is my first game that I've hosted on PBW I'm still learning little things like that. Won't happen again.
