Re: Hey 1FSTCAT...
It should have been a good battle, but because this game chooses initiative the way it does, and because it chose to start our ships adjacent to one another, I didn't have a chance. I really hope this changes, it really adds a large element of "luck" to this game..
BTW, your numbers are a little skewed, don't you think? Looked to me like you had about 5000 fighters there! It must have been one hell of a battle to cause it to crash my game after only half of the first half round of replay! I think you altered the results. CHEATER! Yeah, that's it, Geo cheats! http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif --Ed |
Re: Hey 1FSTCAT...
Heh, no I was saying I lost about 50 fighters. I had a couple hundred at least. Lost about one fighter for every ship you lost, not a bad trade actually.
I am not sure why the combat log was erroring. I got that too. Maybe the carnage was just so great for your fleet the computer just couldn't bear to watch it anymore. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif You wouldn't have had a chance even if we had started out apart and you had initiative. But if you wan't to think that go ahead and keep building those sorry ships, and I'll keep blowing them up. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/tongue.gif Geoschmo |
