Bug in 1.49, is it in Gold?
 

In our current game, we have 4 races left. Race 1 and 2 are a team and 3 and 4 are the other team. Team 3 got whomped and surrendered to his partner, giving his partner the remaining ships he had.

What this does is removes team 3 from the empire list, which also removes all of his ship designs from the Enemy Ship Design list in the Ship Design window so now we have no way of looking at the designs of the ships (other than putting long range scanners on all of our ships.)

The designs shouldn't disappear when a race is killed, they should remain due to a number of issues, captured ships, insurrections, surrenders. Does anyone know if this was addressed in gold?

This has always behaved this way, and wasn't changed in Gold.
