Drone Attack
 

Greetings, I’m a newbie to this game. I was recommended to Space Empires by a game developer from another awesome WW2 Tactical shooter game and am completely hooked on Space Empires. My question is how do I make anti-planet and anti-ship drones attack on their own in a group without having me ordering them to go to that sector in an enemy system. I want them to attack in a group (or wolf pack) on an enemy planet (Jraenas) and their ships. I can’t seem to put the drones in a fleet of their own. When I launched them from my drone carriers and pressed the end turn button they’re just sitting there next to my ships. Do I have to toggle the “Minister” button or what? I have a huge fleet of Naval spaceships, 5 space carriers, and 6 troopships full of hardcharging space Marines waiting on the other side of the waypoint. I want to soften up the enemy system before I launch an invasion attack. It’s in payback to the lizard people for attacking an innocent colony ship I sent in the beginning of this game. Thanks for any tips.

If you want your drones to attack in a group you can shift+click them to select more than one. You can then give orders to the whole group.

Thanks, buddy, I followed your advice and it worked. I knew it had to be something like that. I’m still reading the manual. Unfortunately, I wiped out the entire lizard race in that system including their homeworld with the drones. I wanted my space Marines to at least capture the population for subjugation. Oh well!
