Empire password needed for replacement player at seiv.pbw
 

Greetings

Iam GM of the game Deep space Encounter played at the seiv pbw site.one of my players is gone away now i have an replacement player but his password is not working.
Please can an Admin of the pbw site check this password and mail it to the replacement player?

The new player is in the game player list on position numer one,and has the evil empire as shipset

When the player joined he got an email with the password. If that passwor dis not correct there is nothing we can do to retrieve the correct one.

You can try to contact the previous owner and ask them what the password was, or you can reset the password. Instructions to rest the player's password are in the PBW FAQ, section 3.5.

I mailed to the missing player but he does not answer to my mail.well i will try to reset the password for the replacement player.

One thing that may not be totally clear from the FAQ is this will cause the player to miss another turn, the AI will play for him. But that can't be helped. But make sure you download the current turn files from the game admin screen as the FAQ states (not the get turn button on the left menu) because that includes all the .plr files for the players that have played there turns.
