new race AI testing...
1)I'm creating a new AI, and testing it.
I would like my race to use capital missiles. But, even if the race have missile I knowledge, the IA prefers to add 3 cannons on its first frigate design. How can I prevent that ? 2)I'm playing with full IA control (all ministers on) to test my AI files. Is that the best method ? on another subject : 3) Comparisons and history : must they be erased "by hand" after each game ? these informations seems to be kept from the Last game... |

1)Under "frigate" in the AI_designcreation.txt you will find this;
Majority Weapon Family Pick 1 := 35 Majority Weapon Family Pick 2 := 25 Majority Weapon Family Pick 3 := 0 Majority Weapon Family Pick 4 := 0 Majority Weapon Family Pick 5 := 0 Secondary Weapon Family Pick 1 := 34 Secondary Weapon Family Pick 2 := 25 Secondary Weapon Family Pick 3 := 0 Secondary Weapon Family Pick 4 := 0 Secondary Weapon Family Pick 5 := 0 The weapons are placed in order from top to bottom, so you need CSM weapon number first. 2)That is the way I test my AI's. I will also test using both a low tech start (to verify research) and a high tech start (to verify ship designs.) 3)HUH? |

Numero 3: Are you talking about the files that are saved with the savegames? If you want to erase them go ahead. They really don't do anything after you delete them.
