Totally Organic ship??

I was wondering if anyone has ever made a mod that has a totally organic ship?? What we have now seem mostly a few organic components combined with metal engines etc. I guess the closest I've seen would be P&N's Living Ships and Organic together.

I have one mod in which selection of Racial Techs does not merely allow you an otherwise restricted set of technology, but instead determines the predominate type of technology a culture uses. So, with Organics, virtually every facility or component is grown, or is a symbiotic life form designed, domesticated or altered to be utilized by the society. Living ships, which steal blantantly and unabashedly from S_J's concept, are living creatures and have an entirely different set of limitations and advantages then metallurgic constructs.
Most of that is merely cutting and pasting of the data files, being creative with the descriptions, adjusting the variables of cost and effect and stealing cool pictures....

I produced an outline of some Ancient Techs that would allow the discoverer to produce living ship hulls. There were three different techs for Predator (fast, short range, small), Grazer(slow, larger, more efficiency) and Sessile (reef like bases) Genome Projects. The player needed level 3 to 5 biology before they could recreate the creatures encoded in the respective Genome Projects.
But then I started to wonder if they should have only organic weapons, and would it make sense to put normal weapons on them etc. Never did complete them.

My own mod "Exodus", still in the early stages of work, will have just that. For an "Organic Manipulation Paradigm" race, the hulls will be organic, the control components will be organic, just about EVERYthing will be organic. Frankly, aside from possible ruins tech, there won't be many ways in which an Organic Tech player COULD include non-organic components on ships, bases, units, or whatever. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
