Facility Damage Resistance??

Does anyone know how much damage a Facility can withstand? How it is calculated etc...?

Is it based on Cost of Resources?

Can it be Mod'd?

Just Curious....

Thanks

Re: Facility Damage Resistance??

Facilities are randomly destroyed when a planet's population is bombarded.

Hmmmm....

Did a quick calculation based on a large planet

4,000,000,000 X 10 / 24 = 1,666,666,666.

One and two-third billion damage points seems rather high. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/image...s/rolleyes.gif

Maybe the population has to be divided by 1,000 or 1,000,000?

Re: Facility Damage Resistance??

It's damage to kill one million population, not to kill one person. Population is always in units of one million in SE4. A planet with 4 Billion people has 4,000 units of population.

Re: Facility Damage Resistance??

Well, which facility is destroyed at which particular time is random, but the amount of damage before each facility is destroyed is a factor of the total population. The population at the begining of combat times the damage to kill one pop divided by the number of facilities at the begining of combat. That's how much damage has to be done to destroy a faciliity.
