Illea System on the se.org forum told me you might be able to help me.

Is there any way to order SEIV gold by using a check Online or over the phone. I called Shrapnel and the lady who answered the phone was really very rude when she told me that the only way to buy the game was through the forms on the website, which don't allow Online checks.

I'm really frustrated, as this is likely the only way I would be able to order the game. I've been a fan of SE since Space Empires II, and I was really looking forward to SEIV Gold. Is there any way you can help me?

What's to stop you from simply mailing in your payment? Just fill out the form, and mark the pay by check option. Then you mail them your check. When it clears, they mail you the game. It worked for me...

I highly doubt the lady who answered the phone was rude, she has the patience of a saint (she's also the Presiden't wife http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ).

Anyway you can pay via check. Just order the game and send the check in. Once we process the check we can send the game.

I'm sure she or i was just stressed then... anyways, i don't really feel comfortable mailing checks, but if that's the only way, then alrighty...

I realize this really isn't my business.

Why not just get a return/receipt when mailing your check. Or set up a PayPal account Online, using your checking account. It is secure.

And if those aren't any good. How about a MO??

Well just a thought. For what it's worth.

Mail it priority express. It will cost a bit more, but its worth the security and speed. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
