I should note that I have received a lot, and I do mean a lot, of email about this set. It seems that everyone likes it and wants the model meshes.

I have gotten many pleasant comments from Trek fans who have stumbled onto the site, and have seen the ship set. When that happens, I try like hell to get them to buy SEIV Gold and download all the availible ship sets from all the fan sites. They alway tell me that the Trek sets are the only reason they will or have bought the game.

I get a lot of comments about many of the sets, but the ones from the Trek fans are the most rewarding.

I would reduce the number of Breen ships by a factor of 10 or so, The Breen are more of a secondary race and it would seem such extensive fleets would be reserved for only the largest of empires.

But I like the ship set and if I ever end up making some Breen ships for the TNG mod - I'll be sure to copy your designs.

The number of ships in the Breen fleet has increased do to war build up over 2 years prior to joining the Dominion in the dominion war, and throughout it. Dominion shipyards constructed many hundreds of Breen Battleships during the war.

The combined Breen fleet is estimated at around 6800 ships total including escorts, frigates, destroyers, and other. Most of the concentration was directed at building battleships for the power they yielded and the weapons systems they could employ. Coupled with streamlined production techniques and other modular construction features, the Breen battleships could be constructed at a phenominal rate as apposed to the larger vessels such as Dreadnoughts and Baseships.

Additionally the Breen Empire is equal in size to that of the Romulan Star Empire.

They are not a minor race by any means; they are just a race that has little to no contact with many of the other races in the quadrant.

The Breen have earned the reputation as a race that cannot be trusted, both for their deceptive practices, as well as their cunning.

The Breen are experts at keeping their secrets secret. Not even the Romulan Tal'Shi'Air (sp) could penetrate Breen security.

It wasn't until after the cease fire that the true size and power of the Breen Empire was discovered.

The Breen always seemed to be a historically underused bad-guy race. DS9 changed that with the Attack of San Francisco...
