HELP: Modding Problem
I am attempting to add additional Racial Area's to my TechArea file. I have changed the Racial Area number within the new entry to a new number, in this case 6.
I have added 3 additional Racial Area's to the TechArea file. In accordance I have used the numbers 6, 7, and 8. However when I start a game, the races that are to use the new numbered Racial Area's do not. They are all using number 5. There are no extra spaces between 5 and 6, so that cause has been illiminated. What am I missing? Example: Name := Advanced Sciences Group := Applied Science Description := Advanced Technology. Maximum Level := 6 Level Cost := 8000 Start Level := 0 Raise Level := 0 Racial Area := 6 Unique Area := 0 Can Be Removed := True Number of Tech Req := 0 Tech Area Req 1 := 0 Tech Level Req 1 := 0 Any help is appreciated. I figured it out. I had to also change the Trait Value 1 in the RacialTraits file as well. Live and learn.
