OMG it created a game with no name and a neutral player!
 

This is so peculiar. I have no idea how this happened, but somehow I have a new game in my SE4 save game folder, with a blank name, and a date of today at 12 seconds to 9 PM. I loaded it, and it shows me the Cluk-Ruk Republic (a neutral) on turn 1 under minister control, unmodded game.

... investigates further ...

Ah, hmm. This is a test game I ran the first turn of, some time ago... I guess a copy with no name got created somehow. Weird. I guess not as weird as I thought at first. Ah well.

Hmm, actually it IS pretty weird. I didn't just do something weird in Windohs. I had just tried to launch the game and got some sort of a load error from SE4. Now when I look in the savegame folder in SE4, I see four files:

.gam
_Combat.cmb
_Log.trn
_plr_1_stats.txt

which I am thinking SE4 created when it loaded and errored out. It seems to work fine when I re-load the program, so I probably did something weird with the SE4 Launcher program.
