OT: Two Towers wallpaper
 

I got a Two Towers Calendar for Xmas and liked several of the pictures enough to scan and resize to make wallpapers from them and decided to share them with the rest of the community here. The illustrator is Ted Nasmith and I am sure his work is copyrighted, so these are for your personal enjoyment and should not be used for anything other than that.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, but he is standing downhill, so it looks like he is shorter.

Edit - And I had to do some cropping and resizing to get a desktop size of 1024x768 which furthers the effect.

Thank you for posting them, Gandalph. These are beautiful paintings. The landscape of Ithilien Panorama is spectacular. That's a LOT of Ents in the Eisenguard picture; there weren't that many in the movie. Also I don't remember seeing that flaming sword in the movie. Maybe I should read the books.

It is Isengard. It is not an english word, so it has no "u" in "guard".
