OT:Worthington Cup

Well, if americans find appropriate to discuss American football on this forum, why not make a poll about the real football ? Who do you think will win League Cup final, MU or Liverpool ?

I'm going with MU. I know nothing about that league but hey. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
If that's the football where they do not wear pads then sweet. I love watching highlights of those games on ESPN.
One thing about american football is that the only padding that players HAVE To wear is the helmet.... If they didn't want to they wouldn't have to wear shoulder pads or thigh pads or anything but their uniform. They just know if they don't they will end up getting killed by some hard hitting defensive backs. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

I think anyone who plays American football without pads (or any sport created solely for the sake of violence) 1) Has a wish to have more than 216 bones in his body; 2) Is mentally...challenged; and/or 3) Has a misplaced idea of what manhood is. This applies to those women who want to play with men in the NFL, too.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Krsqk, let me introduce you to a game for MEN (although women play darn well also), it is called RUGBY.

The only "pads" you are allowed is a box, and even then some afficionados consider this girly

Ooooh, a tough call right now.

Right now Liverpool would get stuffed, but in 6 weeks time...

Great to see the big times taking the Worthless Cup seriously. I can't wait for the final.
