1.84 undocumented changes

Use this thread for undocumented changes.

I just found out that your homeworld does not start out full of population when using Advanced Storage Techniques. It starts out with as much population as you would have without AST.

That has always been the case. It is not a change in 1.84.

And if you pick a stat that reduces your homeworld pop (not sure if this is in unmodded SE4 but it is in P&N) you will get a planet with a population greater than it's maximum capacity.
