supply sharing bug in 1.84?
 

OK, I'm playing a proportions game that I started in 1.78 but have now upgraded to 1.84. It's simultaneous against the AI.

I have a ship with a solar collector that has joined a fleet to resupply it. the ship is still gathering supplies for itself, but the other ships in the fleet do not seem to be benefitting.

Has anyone else seen this?

if your still in the same turn as the turn you added the supply ship to the fleet, then yes. i noticed that in 1.78. The supply pool is not actually combined until you end the turn.

If you added the supply ship on your previous turn, then I don't know what to tell you.

It's been 4 or 5 turns now, and supplies are not being added. I added two different ships to an new fleet elsewhere on the map, and they seem to share supplies OK. I guess it's only ships joining existing fleets.

What is the supply storage of solar-battery ship and other ships ? If for example you have a solar-battery ship with supply capacity of 100 join the fleet of ships with supply capacity of 200 but with actual amount of fuel say 101, solar-battery ship will not upload any fuel to other ships. Solar-battery ship must be a real supplyship type and have biggest tanks !
Is this a situation you see or something different ?

well, if the fleet does not have any experience, you could pull all the ships out and make a new fleet and put them all back in. (I assume this would erase any fleet experience, even if the new fleet had the same name)

can you do a save/reload and test it? Just an idea. I don't have that (or any) mod, so I can't SP test it for you. maybe one of the other players here can

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">That's always been my experience as well. The supply ship needs to have at least as much (or more) supply capacity as any other ship. If not, it will only resupply the remaining up to its own supply cap...
