newbie question

I am well into my first game
now I want to do some intelligent research but I dont know how to get points in the first place.
How I can generate intelligent point so that I can start my first project in intelligent research?

You need to build intelligence centers before you can generate intelligence points to spend on intelligence projects.

You can also get into a partnership with someone who has intel, and get points without researching applied intel 1.
