Racial mods are taken into account in simulations!
 
I'm playing an unmodded game, and noticing something that seems like a change to me, or an error in the simulator or probability prediction. I could do a bunch of tests to get my own answers, but I thought maybe some of you would be willing to save me some time from the benefit of your own experience (or mania to run tests).

That is, I thought I had observed in the past (other games, pre Gold patch 1.84) that ALL to-hit modifiers were added together BEFORE the maximum 99% or 1% chances were applied. I am worried this might be due to (a change in?) the rules for applying the max/min chance, occuring before all factors are applied. At any rate, unless it is some sort of cosmetic or simulator error, it would be a factor to make combats even more lopsided than they currently are.

Any answers?

Ok, on further investigation, it appears what's happening is the racial mods are being appied during simulation in 1.84!

AFAIK, this was not the case before, at least according to conventional wisdom.

It always seemed to me as if racial modifiers were taken into effect in the simulator.
