New Concepts
I was thinking about this today.
1. Random exiting Warp Points. IE, you enter it, and where you come out you no not where it will deposit you. 2. Booby Traps. IE, a ship enters a sector, wp, planet, etc and is injured or destroyed by a hidden booby trap. 3. Planets window send Colony Ship window Would be helpful if it too indicated whether or not a colony ship is in route to planets. 4. Point Defense Cannons and Threat Defense Cannons. PDC work against fighters. TDC work against Missiles, drones, and torpedos. (I think this would be nice for a mod if it has not already been done.) 5. Fire Control or Command & Control components. These components are required in order to put PDC or offensive weapons on a ship. |

I imagine a basic bridge would provide 2 or 3, and all weapons of the same type should be firable simultaneously at the cost of only 1 FC-point. Perhaps the best(?) solution to the planet/colony ship window would be to adapt the "delete design type" interface--click "Send Colony Ship," click planet.

This way only planets with say Oxygen will be displayed, or perhaps you just want Methane planets to show up. The ability to sorty only by atmosphere and have only the selected atmosphere planets show up is a must have. The way it is now, all the planets show up, and you have to scroll down to the atmosphere type your looking for. This is tedious. |

I don't think it is what you mean but the Gryphin MOd has an AUX Bridge that: Gives 15% Offensive and Deffensive Bonus Is only available when Combat Support and ECM Lvle III are researched. |
