Work around for forums at PBW
 

For all game hosts that are interested: I found a work around for the forum problem at PBW. Right now it is a pain in the rear end to get to the forums for each of your games. So here is what I did for the games I host. I went to the PBW site, text Version, and click on Forums; find the game that you wish to get to the forum of, and then when you find it, right-click on the link, then select Copy Shortcut. Go to the Admin screen of your game and post a news item and right-click, and select Paste.

This will allow your game members to get to the forums quickly and easily until the PBW forums are back to their normal condition.

For even better ease, when you paste the link location into your news item, put a HTML link tag so Users don't have to copy and paste, but just have to click on it. For those of you who do not know what this tag is it's:
< a href="yourcompletelinkhere" >Type in text here< /a >

Just take out the spaces from the brackets and you're all set. Hope you all like it.

The forum links work in the Graphics Version of PBW now, but not the Text-based Version.

The graphic links to the forums have been working since yesterday. I didn't post the news cause I was waiting till I got everything fixed, which I haven't yet. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif
