What I\'d like in a n update/new Version ...
 

... although it may have been mentioned already - and if so - I apologize.

I'd like to be able to design all my ships through advanced tech and save them in a readable text file. I mean all the way up to the maximum even if I don't have the tech yet.

It would only make the displayed list huge if the game didn't filter out ships with unresearched/discovered tech.

I'd also like to be able to edit that list outside the game (or within it).

Is this too much of a programming nightmare?

You can start an advanced tech game and set "save designs with empire", but that wouldn't generate a readable text file...

A replay button, like in Civ1.
Showing the growth of the various empires and the major events.

That horrible abomination of a game Civ 3 has the replay feature in it too.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Never could force myself to play civ3 to the end of a game.
Still powers up CivNet and Civ2 from time to time though.
CivNet is still the best single player Civ game for me.
