Please help with setup question

When I set up a new game with the Gold Version TDM modpack, I handpick my races to play against.

My question: Do I need to work my way down the list of races and set each one to AI player and race style - or will selecting this option on the first turn and setting them all to AI opponent (a much faster option to do it in-game) still make sure they use the AI designed for them?

I have always done it one race at a time before starting a game - instead of just clicking on the column - anyone know if there is a difference?

Thanx,

J

I have wondered the very same thing....
I just go through each in the set up and turn on the AI and stuff.

Maybe one of the old hands knows the answer.

Unfortunately, you have to set manually loaded empires to be controlled by AI on your own. Otherwise, you will get them acting as a human empire, so you will be able to play their turns.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">It certainly makes difference if you use simultanous turns - player will stay either human or computer regardless of what you do in game. In turn base movement - no idea. I also always switch players to AI during the game setup.
