Modeling program- Wings 3d
 

Those of us who make shipsets or model components/facilitys in 3d might want to check this one out. Its like Nendo, another modeling program, but free.

Bit more complicated than DOGA from what I've seen- you have to build everything from scratch- but for low-poly stuff it seems like it would work well. Doesn't export to X (for Starfury) but it exports to other formats that can be converted to X.
