 mod idea as it popped up, breifly, on se4. in a sort of stars! mod? no the game way. stars! style research, with only 6-10 research paths. each path would give a different type of bonus, so empire diversity would be in wether you had fast ships or strong weapons. |

 Re: mod idea isnt it the same in SE right now? if you went straight up for DN's you'd have them way before everyone else - but then remember the Eee, who have DN's running around with shields I, sensors I, ECM I and APB I. |
