Bug : no "path lines".
On an new install (with w2k), when I choose a destination for a ship, the path line is not shown (very, very annoying...). Any solution ?

I'll have to test that, thanks. If it's true, I wonder why this F%#$*in' setting has been chosen by default...

I know I would never want to be without this function myself, but to each his own. In pre-Win XP days, I left the CD in my CD/DVD drive. I kinda liked the atmospheric music. But now, XP causes the game to poll both my DVD player and the cheap CD-Burner I bought for backups, and the slow spinup time pauses the game -- drives me insane. The "show warp lines" option affect the links between the systems in the galaxy display, not the ship direction in the system screen ! so my pb remains...

Also, you must select that ship to see it's lines. On simultaneous turns, some commands will never show the ship movement lines -- for example, "seek after and attack ..." never shows the lines because the enemy ship will move. The enemy planet never does in SE4, but still no movement lines, anyway. [ July 08, 2003, 22:04: Message edited by: Arkcon ] |

He he.
I had this exact problem when I set up my new computer. I had forgotten that movement lines were under options and not empire options! |
