Did you (or anyone for that matter) ever see my SE3 mod? It was based off of Mikes Mod or something like that, but I nearly doubled the amount of stuff in it (extended most tech levels to 2x what they were and added new stuff too http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon12.gif ). Warning: my SE3 mod contains no balance. It was (to my knowledge) only played by one of my friends and myself, so there was no incentive to go and balance it. Plus, modding SE3 was a major PITA. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/icons/icon7.gif

you can look around for my mod. It is rather balanced out, except that you have so much techs you'd never research them all. At least i can promise completely unique pictures, and lots of them, plus some good descriptions! (yes i put some time into it)

I played the Penultimate Pack mod, which I quite liked. I had a pretty neat PBEM game of it going, but eventually the turn rate got to be over a month to get a turn around all the players, so it ground to a halt. Simultaneous PBEM mode is probably my favorite SE4 feature.
