Re: OT-A personal note

You have my sympathy.

Sincerely.

I wouldn't propose to offer any advice, well, because I don't know you that well and because I don't know the circumstances.

One thing I DO know, though, is that, believe it or not, you have people here that you have met and chatted with that care a lot more than you would think. I've seen this same thing in other forums and it has always amazed me how people you don't "really" know feel your sadness and want to help in the tiny ways that they can.

So, don't retreat away. Come and chat and play and use us as a place to, well, just get away from real life a bit.

Rojero, I have been in your shoes man. It sucks I know, but I can tell you just as surely it does get better. Give it time and take care of yourself and you will be amazed at what you can get through in life.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I hesitated to say what Geo said. But to echo it, it's true. Humans, and humans in sadness can really recover and move on and find themselves happy with something else. Be it love of a child, a pet, a hobby, a close friend...something.

Let me tell EVERYONE here...I've sat on a creekbank with a rifle in my mouth. True story! No need to lie about crap like that in a serious thread like this. BUT, I put it aside. And I'm so happy I did!

Well, I'm too young to either understand what you're going through, or offer any advice... So, I'll just say good luck.

Good luck Rojero. I can only repeat what has alreay been said here : no matter how bad the present moment may be, you can recover from it and move on.

We have never met, and I infrequently post here, so I am more of a lurker.

But I have been where you are, and someone helped me by suggesting what I now pass on to you, that you join a divorce recovery group.

It is by far the best thing that I did to help me through the pain, and I will forever be grateful to the other people in my group, and grateful to the person who led me to them.

Good luck
