Well if you want to colonize a planet you need population to do it. It would be bad if you took all the population from 1 planet to another no?

Yes I have seen Ai-minsweepers in action. Of course it was after they captured one of mine so.... But they did produce more after they got mine. Also don't forget that, and I could be wrong, if ships...

I make sure that transports can not come in close to land troops. But really I understand the want for a better ground combat game and for a single player game it would be fine...

1 Getting ship was probably intel ops.

2 Taking over ships may have been a racial trait specific to 1 race.

3 there is alot of tech, could be they specialized in...

Sorry but in SE IV a planet or Ship shipyard buils 1 ship or one facility on a planet. No multi builds like in SE III. Best bet is build lots of space shipyards or use the emergency build...

Depending on the enviroment on the planet will determine how many facilites you can build on it. Remeber there are techs that will allow you to change that.

You hit it on the head. The treaty wasn't recognized by the attackers. Theses sort of things are being fixed. (Actually most have been fixed.)

There is known problems with demo Version and simultanous movement. Was fixed lateer ans should be part of the first game patch.
