Hmmm. Why does one guy have his face edited out and the other guy have his arm patch edited out? I suspect that they may not be Georgian at all. They may even come from somewhere much further East.

The scan is from a Soviet map of the region – the 1989 revision of the 1942 original. It may be what the Russians are using now. The map is available online at the link that Double_Deuce posted...
