Yeah, just figured the cause, i play on x air support, so, when visiblility is under 20, the game mostly decides not to give you air support

Hmm.. not sure if it is a bug, code limitation, or even a design decision, but i can't buy air transports in low vis. battles, and i don't think a para/glider insertion at broad daylight is, hm......

actually, all troops get some supression from fire hex, it depends on xp and morale, and it might kill, not much frequent though, also note that vehicles can have riders killed, and the vehicle can...

Well, a high velocity round hitting the water will break up, but shotguns don't fire a solid single round, so, the water may have absorbed the round energy, i ain't a ballistics expert, so my info...

You can Buy A simple troop carrier, and a vehicle with a gun/MG/missle/whatever, something like 1 support vehicle per platoon(like german WW2 pzgren)

in RL, stinger/AIM-9 equipped helicopters can fire at fighter jockeys who are dumb enough to show in front of them ;)

Any Chance that a Fixed Wing rocket/gun will also do the trick at high alt?Also, some helos have AAMs(me thinks classed SAM), will those fire against Fixed wing?

1. Pick an On map indirect capable gun
2. Z fire a round at a range greater than the minimum
3. Go to the fire...
