Re: Noobs vs. Vets III: Revolution, MA, CBM. Let's get it on!

Skinu (Caelum) left this on the Noob forum yesterday:

"if there is any way to get a 24 hour delay on the end of the deadline I can take my turn (I'm going to a friends who will let me borrow his...

Re: Noobs vs. Vets III: Revolution, MA, CBM. Let's get it on!

Well, the fat lady hasn't sung yet, so I'm not ready to claim victory just now. But I will say, being sandwiched between Pythium (big Holy and Astral) and C'tis (big Holy and Death) is about the...

Teammate subs are kosher? That kind of temporary switch should be easy enough to arrange.

Re: Nation Guide for Marverni

I think the question is, do you need a useful pretender? Or does Marverni (with ultra-scales) have enough in the tank to succeed without one?

We're too busy treating Ermor like a Rottweiler treats a rag doll!

Re: Nation Guide for Marverni

I don't remember the stats exactly, Marveni's Blood multi-heroes (yes, you can definitely get more than one) are vastly superior to indie bloodhenge druids, and are definitely worth the Luck!

Re: Mists of Time: Early Era Game [Needs Caelum replacement!]

Hm, had to go to the second page of the forum to find the thread. Any news on finding a replacement for Caelum? What steps are being taken? I see that Kailasa hasn't submitted a turn either -...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [full, rolling nations]

I got my nation, and I understand the point of RAND now, I guess I just needed some further qualification. So absolutely no diplomacy, and as WraithLord said, there should be no in-game PMing. Not...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [full, rolling nations]

I know, I'm not really worried about cheating, I just want to know what, if anything (and if it's nothing, I just would like to know), the in-game PM can or can't be used for.

You know, I guess I...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [full, rolling nations]

Messages show up in games logs if its turned on.
Who sends to who, and if its text or equip or gold or gems etc.[/QUOTE]

Then it sounds like we should have game logs turned on, and then we won't...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [full, rolling nations]

I'm curious, how do you prevent "in-game" diplomacy, using the game's messaging? Is it being disabled through a mod? Or the "honor" system (if so, sounds like there could be plenty of room for...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [open 15/19]

I think it's OK to be green (like myself), just not shiny neon green ;)

At this point, I'm helping terrorize the Vets in NvsV3, so I'm feeling (over)confident :D

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [Discussion/open]

My last "friendly" MP game, meaning among my RL friends, before I dipped my toes into the Llamaserver fun, I was LA R'lyeh, and I was being thwarted even before the nerf-patch came out (a billion...

Re: YARG - Yet Another RAND Game [Discussion/open]

This is interesting, and I wouldn't mind testing my chops with the "big boys". Or is this game only open to proven "experts"?

Re: Gladiators?

I presume you mean using them to delay the breach in the fortress walls, because after they're breached, they'll all quit once a single enemy scout sticks his head in the gate. I guess if you buy a...

Confused Gladiators?

What are some good uses for these guys? Seems to be just a good way to lose a load of cash to a scout or some hawks

Is there any reasonable use for them, outside of aiding (very...

Re: Appeal: Help with cost of new LlamaServer

I would like to kick in a little for this (does $10 or so sound good?), now that I'm playing MP. How does it work? You're not going to use my credit card number at Ikea now, are you? ;)

Of...

Re: Mists of Time: Early Era Newish Player Game [game started]

OK, had three random events this turn, one good (free temple) and two so-so (free militia, and growth up/faith down). Guess I just had some bad luck with my luck the few turns previous :)
