I was meaning ripper beam to be used in weapon platforms (it makes 250 damage and takes IIRC 60 kt space, best damage/space-ratio I know). But in battle, planet has superior range. If I recall...

I have noticed that targeting limit, though I have thought that it is a bug which was repaired in the Last SEIV gold patch. I could be wrong in this, though. I find it wrong if planet can not target...

Missiles are quite ineffective now because of the accuracy and power of PD cannons. I suggest PD cannons improving their accuracy up to 70% following way:

I the game I am currently playing, one of my allies attacked to a enemy sector with 150 ship fleet filled with missiles. In that sector was 4 planets build with defences and a 60+ ship enemy fleet...

The best fleet size is as big as you can get. What matters is: the level of your ship...

There was no third party minefields, I am sure of that. I would have known it. Also there was enough minesweepers in the fleet to take any amount of mines. Also system was not turned into nebula,...

Mystery solved (in a way). Next turn came and this fleet appeared into my system with full strength. Though I still don't understand how those ships disappeared Last turn, except if AI could cloack...

I just registered into this forum to ask your opinion of the following:

I play SEIV pbw. Last turn I noticed that one system over 200 ship enemy fleet simply disappeared leaving only 9 ships...
