Maybe a different status could be introduced, not war but confilct. Sort of a limited war. The AI would fight this type of war over a system that was not stategically important to it. If it lost or...

How about being able to fire then move or move then fire. Until opportunity fire is installed there are to many ways to abuse the system.

I've always been able to see what any item contains when I enter combat. I just right click on it. Isn't that the way it is suppose to work?

Empire types

Does the type of empire you choose have any effect on game play? Everything else seems to but I haven't noticed if this does.

I've found the best reason to build a monolith is you get production from all three resources from only one facility. While they may be expensive you gain a lot of extra space for other uses.

Multiple shipyards

I have built three separate base units with shipyard components at a planet with a shipyard. I seem to only get the benefit of one of the shipyard components not all three. Is this the way it is...

I think there should always be a chance for any weapon to miss, even just a tiny one. It make things a little more interesting.
