boosters matter for being able to cast the spell in the first place, so i think it's natural to assume they count for the bonus too....

tcp/ip hosting available

I'm only hosting one game, but I have a dedicated machine for hosting tcp/ip games.

It's not as automated as llamaserver, but it's also not PBEM. The server itself probably goes down for an...

yeah, 4 hours is probably a minimum unless you plan on getting wiped out early.

as for IRC, the easiest is probably to use one of the many web clients. try google "irc web client" or some such.

the idiot game reviewer was definately my favorite. although that unit's clearly been used in every turn-based strategy title released in the past decade. Except, of course, for the Total War series....
