Re: Tractor power

Look at early German forces. I think there should be some unit in '48 that resembles an armoured tractor. http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Another weird bug (but not serious)

This one was fun!
I get a special mission after a marginal victory, and when I place my unit, the hex SE of that unit contains a road.
The road bends from N to E or SE, and... It's kinda fun.

Re: Independent units!!

Well... it seems I am half wrong, then. But even if one is allowed to make whatever changes one wishes to ones own OBs, I sure do wish that reorganizing SPSAM batteries would be done by the team, so...

Re: Independent units!!

Basically, you say that a unit that is 5km from its plt leader will be given the same benefits of rally as a unit that's next to its leader?

These occasional breaks in radio link, how often do...

Independent units!!

I sent out a tiny mail on this issue in the Yahoo list some time ago, but there's the constant issue of rewriting the code... http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/smile.gif

Re: Noise could give you away?

I still long for the implementation of radar vehicles in SAM batteries. a Kub/Kvadrat-battery of six or four vehicles relies on a radar vehicle (AT-T with Straight Flush). IIRC, without this radar...

Re: Map border oddity

This has never happened to be, but if you don't mind losing some units, here's what to do: Approach the border until your unit is in the hex bordering the flag. With the unit selected, press Alt and...

Re: Mexico? Colombia? Venezuela? Bolivia?

I'd also like to see Venezuela along with other Caribbean forces included. The conflict* around Isla de Alva (if I remembered that name correct) is quite interesting, and Trinidad & Tobago offers...

Re: Paratroops Question

Another interesting issue:
My AN-12PB gets shot at as it performs a parachute drop of a platoon of BMDs. It aborts, and the vehicles land among some coastal artillery. Three of the five take two...

Noise could give you away?

When there are tens and twenty of tanks rolling through a desert, the enemy sees the dust clouds. However, a Bell 47 at high altitude will remain invisible until it moves to be spotted. These...

Re: Paratroops Question

Have anyone run any tests on dropping BMDs? I just did, twice, and not once did I NOT lose a crewman. Perhaps dropping crew separately shouldn't be such a bad idea?
On five out of twelve occasions,...

Re: Weirdest bug yet

I was again allowed to watch the enemy's formation.

I loaded last turn of the first battle, repaired all units and did not buy anything. REGULAR mission, assault, I saw >-mark on both NM142 and...

Re: Weirdest bug yet

To the first question: Yes.

As for buying the M113 and NM142 as support, core or anything else, I can't say that with confidence. It's a good possibility I bought a formation and then deleted it....
