It generally comes from regenerating a map with same game name. It overwrites the picture but not the map file or something like that.
Either use a new game name or delete the old one before...

You can't find the actual caster ID numbers, but commanders are listed in unit ID order, both in the regular province screen and the army setup screen, so you can know relative order.

It is randomly either in caster ID order or reverse ID order, which is effectively random for most purposes. There are ways to abuse this, of course.

CBM.
It's a replacement Earth booster for Blood Stones.
It has the same abilities as the unique Boots of Antaeus, but uses a different slot, so that earth still has 2 boosters.

I think it originally was. Or usually was.
There was a patch that fixed that and afterwards the bug still happened but now it happened in SP too. I think it's rarer now, so it may be that one cause...

I haven't done this, but I'd assume the technique is to have fast expansion which doesn't rely on research, then lever that expansion into lots of labs.

Note that the quote only applies to failed checks in a province containing enemy dominion.
If that is true, then it shouldn't matter how far from the front your temple is in your ideal situation....

I think the "friendly" distinction really meant "owned".
That is, a stealth preacher in enemy territory does not have his H level boosted by enemy temples.

You have an increased chance of criticals with any fatigue. You pass out at 100 and fatigue converts into damage over 200.

I think "killing them" was for globals.
Kill the caster, the global goes away. Often tricky without just destroying the nation.
