I agree, the battle's speed is insufferable. If it can't be adjusted, there should be an option to remove missile fire/magic fire. That alone should resolve most of the problems.

It's a know bug, poison resistence doesn't work against poison spit. Should be corrected in the first patch.

I think order/turmoil change the probability of events too much. Perhaps having it match luck scale (i.e. 10% per level) would level order 3/unluck 3 and turmoil 3/luck 3.

Their att/def Ratings are cold dependent, so you have to take it in consideration.
Also, I don't see anyone playing with Niefelheim without nature 9, so once they go berserk their att goes to 14...

Pretty sure. The chill becomes visibly stronger and ice protection goes from 100 to 250 (I think that's how chill effect is measured).

Another important detail about the Jarls - they enter the sea and alone are able to take the provinces, very important in games without the aquatic races.

I think the bad events should be toned down a bit... perhaps have the intensity of a bad event linked to luck scale of a province, so a flood might kill 1/5 of the population in a unlucky +3 province...
