How to set up an online autohost like Llamaserver?

I'd like to set up online PBEM autohost (like Llamaserver) for a game I'm currently hosting manually.

Two questions:
1) Is there any premade web-stuff (PHP/ASP/HTML) available for player/host...

Re: How to deal with powerful stealth army?

You're right (all of you) http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/happy.gif Instead of wasting my army trying to catch an elusive army, I should wear it down gradually with the help of a few...

Re: How to deal with powerful stealth army?

This is MA (Forges of Ulm). Not worth much against those Vanherses unless in very superiour numbers http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

Re: How to deal with powerful stealth army?

50+ Vanherses (Sacred, Stealth, Glamour). Only my main army will be able to defeat it (playing Ulm myself).
He walked right over 40 PD and I can't afford paying for much above that.
No wonder, it's...

How to deal with powerful stealth army?

Vanheim is wreacking havoc in my lands with a powerful stealth army. If I could catch the stealth army with my main army I'd be fine, but that's practically impossible.

How do you deal with this...

Re: Move and Patrol order missing?

When was this changed? According to the manual you need to set Move and Patrol to attack the besieging enemy.

So this means every unit I send to the province will no longer safely enter the castle...

Move and Patrol order missing?

My home province was attacked by a stealth army and the castle is now under siege. I've got a big army in the province next to it, but after issuing a Move order I'm unable to select Move and Patrol...

Question on game balance in this setup

5 players on a random medium map - only 1 sea-nation.

All other things being equal, is this going to be a wildly unbalanced game?

Re: Why Not Digitial Distribution?

They both use a similar and very effective copy protection scheme. If that's not a similarity then I don't know what it takes. Want proof of effectiveness, go search for other discussions on the...

Re: Why Not Digitial Distribution?

First of all, the lack of a manual can be overcome by dedication. The tutorial is in the demo, lots of info on forums and wikis, and the in-game info is very good. I was up playing the demo in a few...

Re: Don\'t ShrapnelGames *want* Dom3 to succeed?

Heh, try 25% VAT here in Denmark (EU). Then add the customs import tax (??%) on top of that.
OK sorry I misunderstood
Officially, anything with a value above some 10 Euros is subject to import tax....

Re: Why Not Digitial Distribution?

The hole in part of the logic is the lack of trust in the Dom3 copy protection, which is excellent. And when you don't have to worry about piracy, the rest of the why-not-to arguments are invalid,...

Re: Why Not Digitial Distribution?

Excatly! When you get hooked on game, you have to be able to buy, download, register and play the full version instantly. Nothing sexy about searching hours for a shop, paying overprice and then...

Re: Don\'t ShrapnelGames *want* Dom3 to succeed?

Waiting is one thing, but besides the $12 shipping cost, any goods imported into the EU is subject to customs taxes and VAT - so in the end I have no idea what my final cost will be.
Interresting....

Don\'t ShrapnelGames *want* Dom3 to succeed?

Ok, this is ridiculous:

Dom3 is available in the US for ~50 US$. However, if I buy stuff directly from the US I must pay additional customs on top of the much higher shipping cost, and it takes...
