Firstly, it's nothing to do with the number of units in province 70, and I was wrong about Pangaea moving...

In Pangaea's turn that I spied on, huge numbers of maenads were being moved in from lots of neighbouring provinces I believe. I think simply moving in fewer of these would be the way forward.

Okay, I've found the problem. It's caused by a battle happening in province 70 which, probably not coincidentally, is where Pangaea is massing ridiculous numbers of maeneads.

If it is exactly 24 hours, then I don't understand. But if it's just "some significant delay", then that happens when the server has been stuck for a bit. It gets worried that it's not working...

Heh, well a rollback is worth trying in that situation, but I would expect the same thing to happen again! In fact it would be somewhat mysterious if it didn't.

Yeah, this is caused when a game takes forever to host. It is a mysterious dominions bug that occasionally hosting takes infinite time, so the server gets stuck till I come and kill it. If I kill it...

The plus indicates that the stat is improved somehow by level of the mage. So a spell might do "10+" damage, and actually do 2 more damage for every level the mage has beyond what's required....

IIRC the path boost from communion isn't actually shown on the unit. That's why you couldn't see the +2 in all paths on the caster.
