Re: Trivially easy UI improvement request

You don't. You can go in the nation overview screen, which is still a pain, but far easier than scrolling the map.
Multiple provinces with the same name is also a sign of rushed map design, except...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

My naval troops (a bunch of sea trolls) should be able to attack Oceania in 3 turns. In the meantime, I'm equipping mages with pills of water breathing and a water cup.
If anyone has water gems, or...

Re: Trivially easy UI improvement request

What do you mean? Percentage of total number of commanders who are in a province?
In nation overview screen?
Of all units? Of units of one kind? I mean I don't really need a percentage of units if...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

I KILLED KURGI!
Yay for a lucky soul slay (+5 penetration items help, what with spare gems). The luck was it was the second soul slay fired which got rid of the horror, I only lost one mage in the...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

You mean no army showing, no interface around the map? 'n' key does nothing?

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Ok.
Btw I'm besieging Neifelheim's capital in the far south but if he's got anything strong inside, I'll have some trouble taking the fortress. Particularly considering Im sending all I can to try...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Yes, Ophanim are nasty. I hope the indy castle in the north isn't filled with too strong an army... I don't relly need to take it, just want to kill oceanian troops that go there, but I can't help...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Province 10 is going to be a pain.
There's KURGI there. The damn thing has more than 400hp and Blood Vengeance 7. Which means almost all my army suicided itself attacking it. Oceania armies routed,...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

And anyway, those pretenders who durst not attack independant provinces on first turn are jsut cowards unworthy of ruling the world. They aren't confident in their own strength.

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Given your position and troops, you should take out those giants'castle south of you.
I can't really comment about your start. You had a lot of bad luck early on, but then so did I. Afterwards, I...

Re: Forge of Godhood - started

So what? I'm playing Atlantis. Do you really believe I stand a tenth of a hundredth of a chance fo winning with that?
And then in order to lose I'd have to be taken over by another nation that can...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

I don't need anything, but if someone could take a shot northwards at Oceania that would be nice. Jotun is being attacked, and I should take care of Hinnom soon.

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Since we're coming into contact, we'd better coordinate a bit now. Belegor(38) was mine, Hinnom took it on previous turn, I was going to take it back and intend to keep it.
I'm moving my troops from...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Hinnom declared war on me. I'm going to have to send all my troops, including the "lucky" 99 militia I jsut received, southwards to fend off Jotnar and Hinnom giants. I'll try to concentrate on the...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

So I won't attack Hinnom, as Niefelheim declared war on me first. They can only reach me trhough 29 though, so it should be easy to defend and desroy their armies from there.
I would like to...

Re: Mod Project - Metaphysics

Regarding research, is ti possible to boost a magic item, like skull mentor?
You'd just have to put two or three of these to the starting commanders, and not make them buildable.

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

So we have Atlantis in the northern waters, with one province and besieging a land castle. Puny but they declared war on me.
In the south I have borders with Hinnom in the west, with Jotunheim...

Re: What Makes a Good Hero?

That's a funny idea, but putting more items on a hero who's just likely to die due to lowish hp/mr isn't going to cut it. On a wizard, it could be awesome however: Imagine you get yoru typical...

Re: OT - Strategy games with GOOD AI

Strange. With aggressive ai on, which should always be the case, the ai is somewhat aggressive. Not as much as a human, but it will strike early if it feels its neighbour is weak, akthough it depends...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

Thanks for the staff, just tell me when you want it back.

Given what seemed to happen in 26 recently, I think first Hinnom and later Jotunheim tried to take it from the Special Monsters but...

Re: Age of Adventurers - EA [started]

If anyone has a scout to spare, province 26 should be fun to look at. Unfortunately my only scout is busy trying to produce feverish gems and I can't build any except in my capital (and black...

Re: OT - Strategy games with GOOD AI

Strategic ai that is. The tactical battle ai was utterly moronic.

Re: OT - Strategy games with GOOD AI

I am not so sure. I worked in a game company and know several developpers who worked on ai in other game companies. The devs would usually like to create a good ai, because it's an interesting...
